LMV December Update

December has been a busy month for the LMV working group with the focus on . . .

• Meeting - Federal Labor Candidate for Maribyrnong – LMV met with Jo Briskey to inform of the proposed planning changes. This meeting has proven positive. Jo listened to our concerns and offered to talk directly with Ben Carroll, Danny Pearson and Tom Rosser (Sonya Kilkenny’s Senior Advisor). Jo has conducted these meetings.

• Meeting - Senior Advisor for Planning Minister – LMV is meeting with Tom Rosser this week, resulting from Jo Briskey’s recommendation that he speak with our group.

• Multiple Meetings - MVCC Councillors – LMV is actively meeting with new members of Moonee Valley City Council with positive signs of support. Mayor Ava Adams agreed to meet with both Ben Carroll and Danny Pearson and has copied LMV in on the minutes from these meetings.
